Lastly, divers who have managed to complete either of the previous two courses, or both can earn their PADI Divemaster rating. Working closely with a PADI instructor, divers hone their skills to a professional level, through a combination of classes on diving theory to practical diving exercises. Of course, nothing beats the experience garnered from actual diving, so an aspiring PADI Divemaster will also have to log a minimum of 60 dives in order to obtain this coveted level.
